The Sydney Royal Arts & Crafts Competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show showcases creative excellence across art, photography, woodwork, quilting, leatherwork and cake decorating, making it Australia’s largest exhibition of its kind. Since the Fine Arts section debuted in 1869, the Arts & Crafts section has grown to become the third most visited Pavilion at the Show, drawing thousands of entries and highlighting the talent and craftsmanship of Australian exhibitors. With over 5,500 exhibits in more than 500 categories, the program evolves each year to include new classes such as Upcycled Homewares, Textured Crochet, Themed Miniature Cakes and Decorative Woodwork. Expanded opportunities for emerging talent, interactive demonstrations and workshops foster participation and help maintain high standards of creativity and innovation
