The RAS is dedicated to raising the standard of agricultural education and curriculum at all stages of the school experience, including raising the bar of professional teacher development and access to premium education resources throughout all of NSW.

Knowing & Growing is a joint initiative of three leaders in agriculture education – the Primary Industries Education Foundation of Australia, the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, and the NSW Department of Primary Industries. The aim of the program is to facilitate teaching about our primary industries in schools by providing quality professional development for all teachers.

We deliver professional development courses that are matched to the needs of teachers and the syllabus outcomes they teach. These courses are delivered using a variety of methods including face-to-face workshops, online courses and blended learning. This ensures that learning can take place at a time and location convenient to you.
