2011 - Arthur Johns  

Arthur Johns was a grain grower from Gilgandra in western NSW and assisted in the RES District Exhibits competition from the 1990s. Arthur’s first competitive RES was the inaugural Homebush Show in 1998 and in his nine years as Northern District Court Manager, he and his dedicated team proudly laid claim to seven consecutive District Exhibits Overall Winners titles.  Passionate about keeping the District Exhibits legacy alive by passing on his knowledge to the younger generation, he was devoted to making the Northern District’s display an annual success. In 2011 he became Show Legend and in 2017 Arthur received a Long Service Award for 25 years-service to the Northern District Courts.
