The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW recognised for excellence in The Educator’s 2025 Service Provider Awards
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) has been named among the Best Educational Service Providers in Australia in The Educator’s Service Provider Awards announced this week.
The Educator conducted a far-reaching analysis of the national education industry, recognising the RAS’ education department as one of the standout performers, and celebrating its exemplary professional abilities and expertise.
Launched in 2021, the RAS’ dedicated Education Department focuses on the delivery of curriculum-aligned programs, professional development for teachers, and immersive farm experiences that deepen students’ engagement with, and understanding of Australian agriculture. Among its flagship initiatives are Ag in a Box, Farm Days and the Rural Students Café at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, each designed to bring agricultural learning to life.
Chris Sweeney, Managing Editor for Special Reports at The Educator, shared his insights on the selection process, stating, “Service providers play a vital role as dependable partners, empowering schools to broaden the opportunities available to their students”.

The Educator ‘s 30+ strong Intelligence Unit compiled the final winners list after the completion of a rigorous 3months process, canvassing the opinions of objective industry experts and collating leading-edge research. In addition, further insight was provided by The Educator’s esteemed judging panel. The prestigious list of honourees was then matched with the Service Provider Awards’ precise criteria.
Duncan Kendall, Head of Education at the RAS, said the education team were delighted to be included among the education industry’s top performers.
