Ag Innovation Award

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is excited to continue to promote agricultural education through innovation with the 2026 RAS Ag Innovation Schools Award. This program is designed to celebrate and reward excellence and innovation in the teaching of agriculture across NSW schools.

Selection Criteria

This prestigious award recognises NSW schools that are driving innovative practices in agricultural education. Each successful school will receive the grant from the RAS Foundation to enhance their agricultural programs, and to continue inspiring future generations.

The updated award now features two categories:

  • RAS Ag Innovator Award: For schools already demonstrating agricultural innovation ($10,000 prize)
  • RAS Ag Innovator Pathways Award: For schools beginning their innovation journey ($20,000 prize)

Applications must showcase innovative thinking, collaboration, and impact.

Key Details

  • Award: $10,000 grant for the winning school.
  • Presentation: The winner will be celebrated at the Sydney Royal Easter Show on Saturday 12 April 2025, 10:00–11:30 am.
  • Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 5:00 pm, 10 March 2025.
