As Australia's oldest wine show, we have never rested on our laurels. For two centuries, we have helped raise the quality of Australian wine as styles and tastes have evolved. With some of Australia's leading wine professionals evaluating every entry, a Sydney Royal medal is a genuine mark of quality.
Last year, more than 1,550 wines from 250+ exhibitors were assessed - over 15,000 glasses poured to judges and panels. Entries open 22 April and close 20 May 2026.
Join us on 31 July for a behind-the-scenes look at the past, present and future of the Sydney Royal Wine Show. Chaired by previous chairs of judges Iain Riggs AO, Sam Connew, PJ Charteris and current chair Mike De Iuliis, this one-day symposium takes place at the conclusion of judging week.
