Sterling silver chalice, raised on a circular foot, attached to a timber base. Made by William Hunt & Sons, in Sheffield 1898. Inscription reads, "Donated by the Australian Red Poll Society Inc (NSW Region)". It was originally a regatta trophy awarded 1901-1904.

Donated By: Donated by The Australian Red Poll Society, NSW Region, in honour of Mr Bruce Urquhart and first presented in 1999. The Urquhart Trophy was designed to complement the prestigious Hordern Trophy. The RAS of NSW was grateful to Mr Bruce Urquhart adding further importance and distinction to the Group by allowing the use of his name to identify and honour the outstanding animals exhibited at the Sydney Royal. Mr Urquhart had been associated with the Society and the RES for many years. He judged the Hordern Trophy in 1982 and 1995. The world-renowned judge Mr Jim Leachman officiated at the inaugural judging of the Urquhart Trophy in 1999.
