Sterling silver twin handled trophy cup with flying scroll handles, made in Sheffield in 1918 by Walker and Hall. Raised on a rosewood finished tiered square timber plinth.

Donated By: Donated by Western Districts Cat Society and first presented in 1988. The trophy honours Irene and the late Ed Searson, dedicated workers for cats and the Cat Fancy. They were breeders of many shorthair champions, including the "Lynwin" Pedigree Shorthair cats. Until 2002, the trophy was awarded for Supreme Shorthair Exhibit of the Show, alternating between Groups 2 & 3. From 2015, awarded for Supreme Exhibit in Group Ring 1, alternating annually between Group 2 and Group 3. From 2017 this trophy no longer alternates between Groups. In 2022 the Cat competition became self-administered. This trophy is presented to the winner by Cats NSW Inc.
