Brass mounted timber wagon wheel on a platform base, together with a separate shield shaped timber plaque.

Mick Stapleton was first given a pony and cart by his father in 1925 and exhibited one of his father's drays in the Tip-Cart Turnout Class at Sydney Royal in 1931. In the same year he began work as a groom and sulky boy doing mail deliveries for the Australian Glass Manufacturing Company. He assisted the main driver with the Glassworks' entries at Sydney Royal from 1921 to 1953, in Led-Gelding classes, the Longreined Pair of Plough Horses (two firsts in 1947) and a four-horse team in dray harness and lorry with a set of double-shafts. Mick Stapleton also competed in his own right in 1949 and passed away in 1996 at 84 years of age.
