Donated By: Donated by the beneficiaries of the Estate of the late Marjorie Holloway out of desire to have some permanent public record of this remarkable lady. First presented in 1992. Marj was a part of the horse scene at the RES for many years and was an accomplished and notable horsewoman, winning many trophies in her younger days. Unfortunately she became crippled, which restricted her riding, but she never lost interest in riding and spent many years in the Pony Club movement. The trophy itself, depicting a young girl riding a fine horse was decided upon as it was felt that it was an appropriate memorial to Marj, who had done so much for so many children over the years to teach them and help them become noted riders and lovers of horses.
