Awarded For: Originally awarded for Mount, Rider (Lady) and Equipment - Lady Owners Contest. Awarded to the winner of the James Angus Memorial Australian Stock Horse Stockmen's Turnout.

Donated By: The late Mrs J Angus donated the trophy in memory of her husband Mr James Angus who was devoted to the Show. It was first presented in 1985. Mr Angus was the third member of his family to serve on the RAS Council. He was a Steward from boyhood and served on the RAS Council 1950 - 1984. He served on the Horse Committee for many years and became Assistant Ringmaster to Mr Ken MacKay. He was also Chairman of the Wine Committee and the Arts & Crafts Committee and a member of the Kennel Club.
