Donated By: Donated by Wine Australia the Trophy was formerly known as the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation Perpetual Trophy and first presented in 1998. George Mackey served on the Board of the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation from 1982. He became Chairman in 1986 and held that position until his death in 1990. The Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation became Wine Australia in 2009. Until 2022 this trophy was awarded to the Exhibitor of the Best Value Red Wine.
