Silver plated cup with hand chased feather pattern on the body, foot and lid and featuring a mahogany plinth with band. First awarded in 2022 in memory of Dr Yvonne Lorraine McIntyre (1946 – 2021). Dr McIntyre competed successfully in a number of events at the Royal Easter Show over many years including the showing of Arabian horses and Burmese cats. She was known for her dedication to the welfare of animals and her love of cats in particular. In her later years she assisted as a volunteer in the Cat Pavilion and requested that a sum be donated from her Estate to the RAS to establish a perpetual trophy. In 2022 the Cat competition became self-administered. This trophy is presented to the winner by Cats NSW Inc.
