Donated By: Donated by Glengowan Angus Stud in memory of the late Stuart Gordon and first presented in 2011. (Charles) Stuart Gordon was the founder and principal of Glengowan Angus Stud at Newbridge NSW which celebrated 50 years of membership of the Angus Society in 2007. CS Gordon was made an Honorary Life Member of the Angus Society of Australia due to his commitment to various committees and taking on the role of President from 1979 to 1981. He was an active and dedicated Angus breeder who exhibited at shows all over Australia, winning many awards. CS Gordon had numerous successes at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in the 13 years he exhibited there. He won all the major trophies of the time, including the GT Reid Memorial Perpetual Cup and the Andrew Reid Perpetual Trophy. He also won many medals and first place prizes as well as Supreme Champion. He won Senior Champion Bull on two occasions.
