Donated By: Donated by the Commonwealth Clydesdale Horse Society (NSW Branch) in recognition of the contribution of the Rees family's Annaburne Clydesdale Stud to the welfare of the Clydesdale horse in Australia. First presented in 1991. Alexander Rees founded Annaburne Clydesdale Stud in 1916. Mr Rees was a member of the RAS and exhibited his Clydesdales from 1926. Alexander Rees' son, Mr DM Rees, daughter Mrs GM Britton and great grandson M Britton continued the family tradition showing Clydesdales.
