Donated By: Donated by Mrs A Sinnett in memory of her father, Mr Alf Chadwick and first presented in 1996. Mr Chadwick, who up until and including 1994 participated each year at the Royal Easter Show, was 86 years of age at his last Show, where he showed the Fielders Bakery Cart as he had done for many years. He first began participating in the Royal Easter show with Trotters after World War II and continued for many years before changing to Bread Carts. Mr Chadwick held numerous positions (starting work at 12 years old) until the late 1940's before he commenced driving bread carts for Bakeries in the Parramatta area. He was still doing odd jobs until his eighty-fifth year. The family felt this trophy was a fitting memory to the many years he competed at the Royal Easter Show. Mr Chadwick's daughter, Ann Sinnett and granddaughter still carry on the tradition by showing ponies in breed, ridden and harness classes.
