With the generous support of our donors, the 2026 RAS Foundation Charity Brunch raised over $50,000 to fund United Way’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library program for the towns of Brewarrina, Coonamble, Gilgandra and Walgett. These funds will enable 425 children to participate in this early literacy program.
The program supports children from birth to age five by giving them access to free, high‑quality, age‑appropriate books each month, helping to foster a love of reading and build strong literacy foundations from an early age.
With 22% of Australian children starting school facing developmental challenges, access to books at home plays an important role in improving outcomes. As a result of your contribution, these four communities will be able to continue with this program while they work towards self-funded models.
We thank our donors and all who attended the Charity Brunch for helping make a lasting difference for children and families in these communities.
