Delivered in partnership with TAFE NSW, this nationally accredited training program has been developed specifically for participants involved in the Sydney Royal Food Competitions.

About the Program

This one-day course is designed to strengthen skills and knowledge in the sensory analysis of fine food products and ingredients. It also focuses on improving the quality, consistency and usefulness of feedback provided to Exhibitors.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will learn how to:

  • Prepare for and conduct sensory analysis
  • Evaluate taste, texture, appearance and aroma
  • Deliver calibrated, constructive and consistent commentary

Accreditation

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Statement of Attainment in Participate in Sensory Analyses issued by TAFE NSW.


Course Fee

The course fee is $251.16 per participant.

The remaining cost of the program is subsidised by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, recognising the important contribution of Judges, Associate Judges and Stewards to the Sydney Royal Competitions.
