The Sydney Royal Woodchopping & Sawing competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show showcases elite competitors from Australia and overseas, with athletes vying for major titles including world championships. Events span multiple disciplines, testing strength, accuracy and endurance in fast-paced contests that keep fans engaged throughout the program. The competition schedule includes Underhand, Standing Block, Tree Felling, Relay, Sawing, Team, Junior, Veterans and Women’s events, each conducted in the dedicated Woodchop Stadium. Crowds cheer on as participants demonstrate exceptional skill and athletic ability, making woodchopping a long-standing highlight of the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
