Rabbit
Rabbits were first exhibited at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 1858 and today are one of the most popular domestic animal competitions for both Exhibitors and the bunny loving public!
The competition showcases many different breeds and attracts more than two hundred entries each year. From dedicated breeders to passionate pet owners, there's a class for every age and stage of owning rabbits.
In 2025 sport of Rabbit Hopping was introduced as a brand new Sydney Royal competition. The one day show features bunnies of all breeds and speeds displaying their skills and agility over jumps and through obstacles, in an event guaranteed to delight spectators.
The Rabbit and Rabbit Hopping Competitions are self-administered by the Rabbit Fanciers Society of NSW Inc and Rabbit Hopping Association of Australia.
