The program offers a unique, fully funded experience of the SRES from Tuesday 7 April 2026 - Friday 10 April 2026. All Roads to the Royal is proudly an RAS AgriLink Initiative. The RAS of NSW is dedicated to providing young people in agriculture with opportunities to enhance their skills and expand their networks through RAS AgriLink.
RAS AgriLink is empowered, inspired, and connected young people in agriculture.
All Roads to the Royal is a fully funded initiative supported by the RAS Foundation. Funding includes all transport, accommodation and meals with an itinerary that includes exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the show, and incomparable, syllabus-based, hands-on experiences for your students. This program facilitates a maximum of forty people, including teachers, support staff and parents.
Students can range from Years 7-12. It is hoped the program will support a student's passion for Australian agriculture and provide them with important industry insight, allowing them to see the many opportunities available to them.
This experience also addresses the disproportionate access to the Sydney Royal Easter Show for rural students who are geographically isolated, as well as fostering student interest in agriculture, through exposure to industry leaders and world-class competitions.
First held in 1823, the Sydney Royal Easter Show is Australia’s largest ticketed event, attracting over 850,000 attendees every year! Revenue generated allows the RAS to invest in agricultural programs, competitions, education, youth, and rural NSW. The RAS invests almost $7 million annually in activations across NSW, which are designed to promote agricultural excellence and regional NSW. All Roads to the Royal is a great opportunity for students in rural NSW to experience first-hand what the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW has to offer, and the work we do to promote them and their communities.
Applications for All Roads to the Royal are currently closed. Applications for the 2027 program will open in August 2026.
