Over $120,000 raised for the recovery of the Taree Showground and Taree High School Ag Plot
More than $120,000 has been raised to support the recovery of the Taree Showground and the Taree High School Ag Plot, following the devastation caused by the May 2025 floods.
Recognising the scale of the damage and the long road to recovery ahead, the RAS Foundation quickly launched an End-of-Financial-Year fundraiser and reached out to its community, raising over $60,000 in just three weeks.

RAS Foundation calls on donations to help raise vital funds for Taree, as the RAS of NSW matches donations.
In response to the devastating floods that recently impacted the Hunter and Mid North Coast regions, the RAS Foundation has launched an End-of-Financial Year (EOFY) fundraiser to support the recovery of two vital community assets, the Taree Show Society Showground and the Taree High School Agricultural Plot.
To amplify the impact of this initiative, the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS of NSW) is matching every dollar donated and recently increased its commitment from $20,000 to $40,000 due to the overwhelming generosity of donors.

Specialist Support—The Catalyst for Student And Teacher Success
The Rural Learning Exchange is a NSW Department of Education initiative that accommodates rural students who want to study an HSC subject that is not offered by their school. The program enables classes from different, small rural schools to connect across the state, facilitating collaboration between teachers and students.

RAS legend, Robyn Clubb AM leaves one impressive legacy.
RAS Foundation Chair and RAS Councillor, Robyn Clubb AM, will be stepping down from her roles at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) this week following just over three decades of service. As the first woman elected to the RAS Council in 1993, Clubb has been a steadfast force within the not-for-profit agricultural and event organisation.
