Charley Castle and The Boys in the Well

Charley Castle and The Boys in the Well offer an old-is-new brand of bluegrass, connecting elements of bygone country and folk with modern sensibilities. A fast-paced, infectious dynamic and equally catchy songs make for a holler-inducing live show. In the classic string band style, the group features the talents of Reuben Ryan on acoustic guitar, Henry Junor on double bass and George Teasdell on mandolin, with harmonies galore.

Charley was a student at the CMAA Academy of Country Music in 2023, the winner of the Australian National Busking Championships Best Vocals Award 2023, and was twice shortlisted for the ASA Australian Songwriting Contest in 2020. She has shared the stage with The Bushwackers, Kevin Bennett and The Flood, and Lyn Bowtell (among others), and opened for Aussie icons Daryl Braithwaite, Brian Cadd, You Am I, and Thirsty Merc.

The room is split into red and white wine tasting areas, with wines grouped by varietal. Beer and cider can be found at the bar within the dedicated beer garden.

Trophy wines will be highlighted within the general wine bays, making them available for you to taste as you move across the room. You will need to use your tokens to try these very special wines.

The Results Catalogue will be available at the conclusion of the 2025 Sydney Royal Wine Show and can be downloaded from the Wine Show Results page. Results are listed by class order, with the score and any medal the wine has won noted.

There are many wines available to taste at the event, and we want to ensure our guests have the opportunity to experience a variety of them.

Unfortunately, we don't have enough wine for everyone to taste everything, and some wines may be more popular with guests than others.

The white wine is not chilled so that you can experience and taste it as the judges do during the judging process. Chilling wine dulls its taste and flavour, so serving it at room temperature allows its aromas to be at their peak.

A wide range of medal-winning produce will be showcased on the grazing tables for all attendees to enjoy, and hot food will also be available for purchase at the event.

For the safety and comfort of all guests, a cloakroom is available where large bags can be held on your behalf.
