Formerly known as AgVision, Discover Ag has been on an exhilarating rebranding journey, to set the stage for the foremost agricultural career’s expo in Australia. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 26th, 2024, as we invite you to join us at the prestigious Sydney Showground for an immersive experience like no other.


At Discover Ag, we pride ourselves on offering an extensive array of over 50 career paths into agriculture through interactive learning activations. Designed to unveil the boundless opportunities within the agricultural sector, our expo is meticulously crafted to shape the future careers of students. From engaging workshops to enlightening seminars, every facet of Discover Ag is geared towards empowering the next generation of agricultural professionals. Although Discover Ag is focused around the agriculture sector, there will careers for everyone on display, highlighting the range of job opportunities at all stages of the production train. Discovery Ag will host primary producers, animal and soil scientists, data scientists, engineers, mechanics and more so there is something for every student!

What to Expect on the Day: 

  1. Free Time to Roam and Ask Questions: At the beginning of the day, students have the chance to move around freely and approach different presenters to ask questions and gain insights. This one-on-one interaction can be invaluable for students to learn from experts in various fields.
  2. Morning Tea: After the initial interactions, there's a break for morning tea. This provides students and presenters with an opportunity to relax and socialize.
  3. Session Blocks: This is divided into three 30-minute session blocks.
  4. Lunch Break: Following the morning sessions, there's a lunch break where participants can eat and network with each other.
  5. Additional Free Time: The event concludes with another period of free time, allowing students to follow up on earlier sessions, ask more questions, or explore other stands for information. This flexibility enables students to tailor their experience to their interests and needs.
