Rural Achiever Award application

Please read through the instructions carefully to ensure your application form is submitted.

Before submitting this application please ensure you have:

  • Read the Conditions of Entry carefully.

  • Completed all the required entrant details and questionnaire answers.

  • Uploaded a high resolution portrait photograph. Must be a jpg. file and of a file size no larger than 500kb.

  • Uploaded a single page cover letter. The document can be a word doc. file or pdf file.

Note that your resume is not required.

By applying for the 2022 RAS Rural Achiever Award you understand that you may be required to attend a face-to-face interview in Sydney at the RAS Head Office. If selected as a Rural Achiever, you will need to be available to spend eight consecutive days at the 2022 Sydney Royal Easter Show, and participate fully in the Award program.

RAS Privacy Statement

Information provided by you is used by the RAS to organise, process and conduct your application. Information may be collected electronically, via telephone or paper based and will be held securely at the RAS. By providing personal information, including but not limited to your name, company name and ABN, current address, telephone or mobile phone number, email address, or information concerning your experience as a Show official, you consent to your personal information being used for this purpose including this information being made available to The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, RAS sponsors, RAS Foundation, breed societies, the media, the public, promotional purposes, archival purposes, published in RAS publications and could be made available to third parties for the purpose of promoting the RAS, or as otherwise required by law. Your details will be handled in accordance with the RAS of NSW Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available at You have the right of access to and alteration of personal information containing yourself in accordance with Privacy Laws.
