Honouring the traditions of local agricultural shows and produce markets around Australia, the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show celebrates heritage, quality, provenance and innovation.
In 2005 the Sydney Royal Beef and Lamb Competitions were established, judging MSA-certified Australian meats. In 2017 the Fine Food Committee introduced the Sydney Royal Pork Competition which has been a great addition to the Fine Food Show. Our Judging pool ncludes farmers, end users, chefs, food media and experienced palates, whose credentials include academic expertise and technical knowledge. The competition is held in August every year as part of the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.
