Competition Schedule Check the 2021 Competition Schedule for Class changes, instructions, regulations and general information. This will be available on the Key dates & Schedule page in December 2020. Online entries Open December 2020 and close 29 January 2021. Offline entries Offline entry forms will be available from December 2020 for Open and Under 20 Classes by Contacting the Arts & Crafts Coordinator on 02 9704 1152 or email@example.com . Please note offline entries close 22 January 2021. A processing fee of $25 will apply to all offline entries. Therefore, we recommend entering online for this saving. Enquiries relating to entries may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org . Judging All judging for the Arts & Crafts Competitions is done pre-Show and is closed to the public with the exception of the Perishable Cooking Judging, which is on the first day of the Show, in the Arts and Crafts Pavilion. Judges in the Arts & Crafts Competition are high-profile, well established figures from the arts and crafts industry. They may include eminent artists, Archibald Prize winners, gallery owners and other highly regarded figures from the arts. Craft judges are chosen from recommendations made by representative bodies from each craft category.

The Arts Preview Evening is your exclusive opportunity to take some time to browse the incredible array of arts and crafts entered into the Sydney Royal Arts & Crafts Competition. Attendees are provided with the exclusive opportunity to purchase exhibits, prior to the Show commencing. Live music, canapés and the presentation of awards, compliments a wonderful night. Browse among the entries from over 300 Classes including water colours, rural landscapes, photographs, sculptures, ceramics, glass, knitting, cake decorating and more. It is with regret that the Arts & Crafts Committee wish to advise the cancellation of the 2021 Arts Preview Night. This event plays an enormous part in the lead up to the Show and we wish to thank all past supporters of this event for their understanding. The RAS looks forward to the return of this event in 2022.
