Alpacas were first introduced to the Easter Show competitions in 1869 and have been a continuous feature since 1992. The Sydney Royal Alpaca Competition is internationally recognised and regarded as one of the most prestigious in Australia, attracting Suri, Huacaya and Fleece exhibits.
