Champion White Milk
Champion Yoghurt or Cultured Milk Product
Why did you enter the Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Produce Show?
At Brownes Dairy we pour our heart and soul into creating delicious products from the natural goodness of dairy for Australian families. We enter awards to ensure our products stand out amongst those of other great producers. It keeps us striving to be better today than we were yesterday.
What does winning a Championship mean to you and your business?
Not only do consumers recognise and respond to awards, a win also boosts our internal culture. We celebrate each and every win and are hugely grateful to be recognised in this way.
Is this your first Championship win?
We are very fortunate to be regular winners in yoghurt, white milk and flavoured milk; something we do not ever take for granted.
Do you have any interesting news stories about your business/product or any fun facts consumers may find fascinating?
- Brownes Dairy is Australia's oldest and most established dairy, operating since 1886.
- Innovation is in our DNA as we introduced WA's first chocolate milk in 1951 and introduced yoghurt to the state in the late 50's.
- In 2017 we were a winner in the AFR's 'Top 50 Most Innovative companies' in Australia & New Zealand.
How do you use the Sydney Royal medal artwork or promote your win through your marketing efforts?
We create a suite of new Point of Sale materials to promote our win and share our success on our social media channels. This year, we are also celebrating our win with an on pack medal for Extra Creamy milk.
How long have you been entering the Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Produce Show?
We have been entering for at least 5 years.
