Along with over 40 other exhibitors, Meredith Dairy the winner of the 13th Annual President's Medal - Australia's premier food and beverage award - will be sampling their sensational cheese and dairy products and discussing their innovative business practices.

Barossa Fine Foods’ tradition in smallgoods production goes back to great uncle Andreas Knoll who learnt to make smallgoods such as Vienna’s, knackwurst and salamis in a Munich factory at the age of 15 in 1924. His nephew Hans learnt the business from him in Munich before migrating to Australia in 1957, eventually opening his own shop where his son Franz started work also at the age of 15. In 1991 Franz and his wife Barbara bought a stall at the famous Adelaide Central Market called Barossa Fine Foods and started making small quantities of smallgoods on his parent’s farm in the Barossa Valley, never imagining it becoming Australia’s most awarded smallgoods producer, now boasting more than 700 medals won from national and state competitions. Barossa Fine Foods is now steered by Franz and Barbara’s 3 sons; Dieter, Andreas and Alex. At the Sydney Royal Taste of Excellence Barossa Fine Foods will be sampling their 2018 champion products, Smoked wagyu, Roast Porchetta and Kalbs Leberwurst.
In the humble beginning Fudge by Rich was established by Nicole Street as a small venture out in Healesville in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Since this time they have grown quite significantly providing top quality award winning fudge throughout the Yarra Valley itself and now its extensive surrounds. Nicole believes in making deliciously rich fudge with only the best quality raw ingredients, resulting in a beautifully smooth product, full of genuine flavour and natural colour. She wants people to know that what their tastebuds are experiencing is derived from the actual flavour source. Many of the flavours for this reason are seasonal. Fudge by Rich pride themselves on unique and diverse combinations of the freshest ingredients to cater for every palate. Fudge by Rich hand make in small batches to ensure the highest quality and colour is maintained. Once poured the fudge is left to set before each bar is individually wrapped and string tied. This method is all to ensure the highest quality, that their customers have grown to love and expect, is maintained right to the end. Fudge by RICH will be offering tastings and samples of all of their Sydney Royal Award winning Fudge and Walkers Lane Crunchy Nut Brittles. The team spend their days dreaming up new flavours and tastes to excite and entice customers, searching out the finest, natural ingredients to produce a gelato that’s second to none. Their artisan gelato and sorbets are hand-crafted daily in small batches following traditional methods to ensure the highest quality and flavour. And their vertical gelato maker is one of the few in Australia. Come and try our fresh gelatos and sorbets and taste the difference. One mouthful and you’ll be hooked During the Sydney Royal Taste of Excellence event Gelateria Gondola will present samples to the crowd, the six flavours (i.e. Cioccolato Modicano, Tiramisu, Caffe Mascarpone, Cioccolato Sorbetto, Pavlova, and Lime e Cetriolo) which were awards medals in the 2019 Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Show.
Julianne's Kitchen is a three time Champion award winner at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show. Specialising in handmade Charcuterie including, pâté, terrines and rillettes. All products are free from preservatives, made to order and of the highest quality. Julianne's Kitchen use Australian ingredients. Pâtés are cooked by hand in small batches leaving them velvety smooth and blush pink. Terrines are full of fresh herbs, spices and brandy retaining a classic chunky texture. Fruit pastes are beautiful and Jammy, squishing into your cheese. Julianne's Kitchen range is available nationally to retail and food service customers.

Pasta Di Porto is a passionate and dedicated boutique family business, taking pride in being small batch artisan makers creating products of the highest quality possible, sourcing the finest ingredients available. A testimony to this is being recognised at multiple Sydney Royal Fine Food Shows which the team have been entering from 2010 to present. To date Pasta Di Porto is the most awarded Pasta Company in Australia in this competition with several overall Championships, Gold, Silver & Bronze medals to their credit. The team will be sampling a range of Award Winning Ravioli from the 2018 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show. Two of the Ravioli which we will be including in the sampling are newer lines which was introduced for the 2018 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show and have now become strong favourites with customers and stockists. They are the Free Range Southern Italian Duck Ragu Marsala Wine & Buffalo Ricotta Ravioli (Gold Medal) and Blue Cheese, Walnut, Truffle Oil & Buffalo Ricotta Ravioli (Silver Medal).
Petuna will be at the Sydney Royal Taste of Excellence sampling Tasmanian Petuna Hot Smoked trout, “The Wagyu of the Sea”, rich in Omega 3 with a delicate taste that is enhanced by a natural hot smoking technique using Tasmanian Oak and Hot Smoked Petuna Atlantic Salmon which has a flaky flesh and distinct smoky flavour. Served on their own for their full flavour to be appreciated.
Sunshine Meats is a 100% Australian-owned family business, making a large range of gourmet chicken, turkey, duck, pork and beef smoked meats. Founder Jose Pereira has been making his Portuguese-style smallgoods in Sydney since 1988. His specialities include Australian ham and bacon, his signature double smoked chilli chicken breast, Portuguese chorizo and salami, and a range of mouth-watering smoked duck products. Sunshine Meats products are multi-award winning. Their ham has been named best in the country and NSW by Australian Pork for consecutive years since 2014; their Smoked Duck Breast was named best smallgoods product at the 2018 Food & Beverage Awards; and the Double Smoked Boneless Ham and Nitrite Free Butterfly Duck have been awarded Sydney Royal Champion in their categories in 2018. Sunshine Meats will be showcasing and sampling their award-winning products, in particular; Champion Ham and Champion Poultry products, as well as other gold, silver and bronze medal winning products.
