AgVision is NSW's leading agricultural and agribusiness careers expo and promotes a broad range of careers in agriculture and agribusiness to students in years 9-12.
In light of the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 situation in Sydney and the extension of the Greater Sydney lockdown, we have made the difficult decision to cancel AgVision 2021.
Hosted by the RAS, Ag Vision is Australia’s premier agricultural and agribusiness careers exhibition, welcoming 1,200 students biennially to Sydney Showground to showcase the many and varied career opportunities available within the agricultural sector.
General Manager, Agriculture and Sydney Royal Easter Show, Murray Wilton says it’s with a heavy heart that the RAS has decided to cancel the event. “Due to current restrictions and uncertainty around the lockdown in Greater Sydney, AgVision could not run as the immersive and informative careers expo we had planned. That combined with the safety and welfare of all students, presenters, staff, and volunteers, unfortunately, left us no choice but to cancel the 2021 event,” Mr Wilton said.
“As Australia’s premier agricultural careers expo, AgVision plays an integral role in showcasing the incredible range of career pathways available within the agricultural industry, and it is extremely disheartening that we cannot deliver this experience to students in 2021”.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding during these challenging times.
