Orange & Pineapple Glazed Ham Recipe

Orange & Pineapple Glaze


500ml pineapple juice

500ml orange juice

200g brown sugar

40-50 cloves

Orange slices for garnish (optional)

Pineapple slices for garnish (optional)


Combine brown sugar, pineapple and orange juices in a saucepan. Bring to boil while stirring. Set aside. Remove skin from ham. Score fat with sharp knife. Press cloves into fat at the score marks. Place orange and pineapple slices in bottom of baking dish. Place ham on top. Pour glaze over ham. Bake in pre-heated oven at 150°C for 1 – 2 hours depending on size of ham. Baste ham with glaze from baking dish every 20 minutes.
