Sydney Royal competitions are renowned for the integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards of the judges, drawing on industry experts, dedicated specialists, and connoisseurs with an abundance of training and knowledge.
Drawing together an impressive team, John Susman, Chair of Judges for the Aquaculture Competition says the role the judges are playing in building one of the world's most dynamic seafood industries is something to be proud of, "...their skills and commitment to the judging process provides the aquaculture industry with unmatched insight and stewardship, fostering excellence and continual improvement".
The judges include a food editor, lecturer, consultants, food journalists, product development manager, research scientist, and chefs. All perfectly placed to assess seafood offerings and provide valuable feedback and highly respected opinions.
Champion seafood producers in 2021, named by the judges, are Tathra Oysters, Gold Coast Marine Aquaculture, Clean Seas Seafood, Brilliant Food, and Yumbah Aquaculture Ltd.
