Recruitment process

We want you to have a great recruitment experience when you apply for a position at the RAS. When selecting potential employees, our Human Resources team take an objective view and select on merit, skill, demonstration of our performance drivers and fit with our organisational culture. We also apply our equal opportunity principles.

Applying for a role

All of our job vacancies are advertised under Current vacancies on this website and it's easy to apply online. Once you've registered and applied, we will email you with confirmation of receipt. Our Human Resources team will then carefully assess your application.

Shortlist and interview

Shortly after applying, we will let you know if you've been shortlisted for the position. Depending on the role, you may have a number of interviews and meet several people from the team.

Employment screening and reference checking

Everyone who is offered a job with us is asked to take part in our employment screening process. The checks we do will depend on the role you've applied for. Checks may include working with children, residency, criminal history and relevant professional qualifications.

If we don’t have any positions vacant, you can register with our talent pools and if an opening arises we will be in contact with you.
