The RAS Youth Group represents young adults within the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW – creating support networks and encouraging engagement in rural issues.

Since starting up in 2004, the RAS Youth Group has developed engaging events from casual get-togethers to thought-provoking debates. The group is made up of young professionals whose intention is to facilitate further education and fun through RAS programs, events and competitions.

Youth Eco Summit (YES)

9.30am – 2pm Thursday 16 November or Friday 17 November 2017

Youth Eco Summit – Primary Schools The 2017 Youth Eco Summit for Primary Schools will be packed with all the excitement and  interactivity that has fuelled this award winning sustainability education event  for the last 7 years. YES is a STEM-based festival with displays and hands-on workshops from a range of premium program providers. YES is also an opportunity for schools and student groups to showcase their sustainability achievements and projects, sharing their learning through a kids-teaching-kids model. An exciting and valuable addition to  this year's event will be our Murama Indigenous Youth Team. They will be leading a range of cultural immersion activities around Cathy Freeman Park including ceremony, art and Indigenous science.
