Why did you enter the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show?

We entered the competition to challenge ourselves and compare our products against others in the profession and have industry experts judge them on an even playing field. Everything we sell instore is produced in house by our team of Pastry Chefs and Apprentice Pastry Chefs who are all currently in training at Hamilton TAFE. We currently have 3 qualified pastry chefs and 2 apprentices. We do a large range of products including traditional cakes, cheesecakes, mousse cakes, slices, sausage rolls, brioche donuts and our latest edition is our pies which are conveniently shaped like a sausage roll for ease of eating while on the go.

 

What does this medal championship mean to you?

Winning this medal is great for our business and our town as it helps put us both on the map and reinforces the Hunter Valley as both and Food & Wine destination mecca.
