Membership Facilities at the Show

Members' Stand

The Members' Stand provides seating for approx 4000 people, including designated

seating for disabled visitors as well as some 23 wheel chair spaces. The Stand has

been specifically designed to cater for disabled access, including a lift and ramps.

Members' Services Centre & Cloakroom

This small office is located in the foyer of the Members' Stand and is managed by

permanent and casual membership staff. Members can purchase extra guest passes,

renew subscriptions and join up new Members.

It is also the contact point for interstate RAS Members and international visitors. The staff also provide Members with information on daily events and highlights. The Cloakroom charges a nominal fee for Members' belongings to be stowed away safely during the day.

Members' Dining Room (Sir Phillip Charley Room)

The Members' Dining Room can comfortably cater for approximately 320 diners. Located on the top floor of the Stand, the dining room looks over the Main Arena, providing an excellent view of ring events and night entertainment.

The dining room offers a three-course buffet service with a hot carvery and selection of cold meats and salads during lunch and dinner sessions. It also offers morning and afternoon teas.

Members' Bar

At full capacity, the Members' Bar caters for 300 patrons. It, too, looks over the arena. In 2001, the bar was extended at the rear, into a beer garden. This area catered approximately for another 70 people. The beer garden proved to be very popular, particularly with the younger Members.

Members' Lounge (Hordern Room)

The Hordern Room or Members' Lounge provides a retreat for families with younger
children and older Members looking for a quiet spot to relax and take in the ring events. It caters for about 150 to 200 people.

The Hordern Room provides a café and bar, with bar and café-style seating, as well as the separate lounge area. The café serves a range of quality light meals, a healthy alternative for those looking for a quick snack.

Members' Reserved Seating Areas

There is reserved seating for Members in the Woodchop Stadium. This venue is extremely popular with top class action including international competitions.
