Young Farmer Exchange [Industry Panel] and Hats Off at the Royal 2026
This activity is delivered by NSW Farmers in partnership with Royal Agricultural Society of NSW as part of the Farm Business Resilience Program, jointly funded by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and the NSW Government.
NSW Farmers, in conjunction with the RAS Youth Group, is proud to present the Young Farmer Exchange and Hats Off at the Royal 2026 on Thursday 2 April, a day dedicated to fostering meaningful connections, celebrating young professionals in agriculture and supporting the industry’s future leaders.
The day begins with the Young Farmer Exchange at 10.00am, hosted by Andrea Crothers.
The 2026 theme, Agriculture 2075: Investment, Innovation and Influence, offers attendees the opportunity to hear from leading voices across the sector, followed by a networking lunch. The session is designed to provide practical insights, encourage participant voice and create open discussion for young people in agriculture.
Following the panel, guests are invited to join us at 6:00pm for Hats Off at the Royal, a networking and entertainment experience tailored for young people in the agriculture industry aged 18 years and over. The event brings together individuals from diverse agricultural backgrounds to connect, share ideas and enjoy an evening of live entertainment in a relaxed and engaging environment.
Food and beverages are included in the ticket price until 9.00pm.
Hats Off at the Royal also features a silent auction and raffle, with all funds raised contributing to a Rural Scholarship through the RAS Foundation. This event directly supports the next generation of agricultural leaders through education and development opportunities.
Bundle tickets are available for those who wish to attend both the Young Farmer Exchange and Hats Off at the Royal.
Entry to the Sydney Royal Easter Show is included in The Hats Off at The Royal Ticket Price for participants attending prior to the evening event, subject to final confirmation.
