Transforming Milk into Camembert for Secondary School Teachers
The RASedu team delivers a number of Teacher Professional Development events through the year, including at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Are you a secondary educator?
Want to make cheese part of your teaching? The 'Transforming Milk into Camembert' Teacher Professional Development is created for you! Pitched at Secondary School Teachers, the day focuses on the process of transforming primary produce into value-added consumer products to educate students with a basic understanding of the chemical and biological changes that take place during the cheese making process.
Transforming Milk into Camembert will contribute 6 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 2.12, 3.3.2 and 4.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

We are always on the look-out for Secondary schools who may host our TMiC course on their site. This is a great opportunity for schools to see how easy it is to incorporate agriculture into their classroom spaces. Minimum 10 teachers required, cost is $200/teacher. If you would like further information on becoming a TMiC host schools, please contact us!
