President's Medal Award Night
For nearly 200 years, the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) has celebrated the top performing fine food and beverages by awarding medals at the Sydney Royal shows. Now, the best of those Champions compete for the highest honour of all - The President's Medal.
This unique award recognises not only extraordinary products, but the extraordinary businesses and people behind them. Their acceptability to the Australian fine dining and home dining markets as well as their social, economic and environmental impacts are rigorously analysed in a triple bottom line audit to find true greatness.
The evening will feature a grand gastronomic showcase of each of the Finalists' Champion products, through a menu crafted by Guest Chef Christine Manfield and Sydney Showground's Executive Chef, Tim Browne.
