Knowing & Growing Teacher Workshops

During Terms 2 and 3, the group will deliver professional development workshops in multiple regional locations to Stage 4 and 5 Agriculture and Technology Mandatory teachers to support the implementation of the new Technology Mandatory syllabus. Read more

2019 Exhibitor & Trade Tasting Event

Friday 16 August 2019 or Saturday 17 August 2019

Presented by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, the Exhibitor & Trade Tasting is held off the back of the 2019 KPMG Sydney Royal Wine Show, giving the wine industry an opportunity to view results, taste exhibits and network. Two separate sessions will be held, Friday 16 and  Saturday 17 August 2019. These sessions are free to attend and is open to wine exhibitors, industry and wine. Printed results catalogues will be available at the start of the event. Please select the day you would like to attend, entry is available to one session only and is for wine exhibitors, industry & trade only.  Please Note: Attendance will only be admitted with a valid ticket and ID (Business Card) or WCA Lunch Ticket to prove involvement with the wine industry. This is 18+ only event, ID may be requested upon arrival Please note that large bags and backpacks will not be permitted into the venue.  Read more

2019 Wine Communicators of Australia Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners Lunch

The 2019 WCA Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners Lunch  runs in partnership with the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, we are delighted that the 2019 event will be moving back to where it originated The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW. As such, all guests are invited to attend a special tasting of the 2019 KPMG Sydney Royal Wine Show wines before being treated to a three course meal, accompanied by trophy and award-winning wines from the show.   Guests will hear details of the judging process from Chair of Judges, PJ Charteris and International Wine Judge, Rod Smith MW. WCA will also announce the 2019 New South Wales ‘Legend of the Vine’. This prestigious award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Australian wine industry. WCA will be providing a complimentary ‘one way’ bus transfer to the event (departing Central Train Station, Sydney at 10am). Agriculture and Food in the Classroom for Primary School Teachers

Agriculture and Food in the Classroom for Stage 2 and 3 Educators (AFiC) is a 5.5 hour workshop that provides teachers with content and strategies to facilitate students’ knowledge and understanding about production of a farm product, how these products change through processing and how they are marketed and distributed to the consumer.
