Royal Agricultural Society of NSW

Since it was founded in 1822, the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) has been an influential force in the direction and development of Australian agriculture through competitions, education and events.

The RAS has grown to become a diverse business incorporating the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Showground, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation and the Australasian Animal Registry.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the RAS is committed to supporting agricultural development and rural communities in Australia by generating revenue through its businesses to plough back into agriculture.

International Delegate Program

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW welcomes hundreds of international delegates to the Sydney Royal Easter Show each year.

At the 2016 event, international interest was piqued amongst North American, New Zealand, British and Asian buyers keen to see some 1,800 prime beef and dairy cattle on show, and network with local exhibitors selling livestock and genetics at the event. The Red Angus Feature Breed Show generated particular interest in 2016.

Watch what visitors have to say about Sydney Royal Easter Show and the International Delegate Program.

The Sydney Royal Cattle Show has announced the following Feature Breeds for upcoming Sydney Royal Easter Shows:

Limousin: 6-19 April, 2017

Whiteface Hereford & Poll Hereford: 22 March-4 April, 2018

Angus: 11–24 April, 2019
