Australian Young Farmer Challenge

Welcome to the Australian Young Farmer Challenge

The Australian Young Famer Challenge is a new national initiative developed by the Australian Council of Agricultural Societies (ACAS) and run by Agricultural Societies and organisations across Australia.

The Young Farmer Challenge showcases the breadth of technical skills required in farming today and celebrates the involvement of young people in the industry. It is an engaging, entertaining and fast paced event showcasing the talents of the modern day farmer.

It’s also about bringing young Australians aged 18 to 35 years from all backgrounds together to recognise and celebrate their place in Australia’s agricultural future.

Prize Money up for Grabs
There is currently $39,500 in prize money up for grabs in challenges running around the country. Contact the the National Coordinator on 02 9704 1160 or to find your nearest challenge.

National Final
The 2014 National Final will be held at The Sydney Royal Easter Show on Friday 18th April on the Main Arena from 5pm. Come and see the champion teams from each state battle it out for the National Title!
