Mr Geoffrey Mason
Geoffrey Mason is a farmer and grazier from Boorowa, his family farmed for generations in the United Kingdom before moving to Australia in the early 1900’s. He owns and runs Castlesteads, Boorowa—a mixed sheep, cattle and farming operation in south western NSW.
He was elected to the RAS Council in 2006 and serves on several committees including Horse, Goat, Young Judges, Councillor Recommendation committee, Agriculture. He was Chairman of Agriculture for six years and is currently Chair of the Dairy Produce Committee.
Geoffrey is an active life member of the Boorowa Show Society. He has been Ringmaster and Chief Steward for the field wheat competition for many years.
Geoffrey was appointed Trustee for the Farrer Memorial Trust—A Trust providing research grants and scholarships recognising excellence in the Agricultural Industry in the fields of research, education and administration.
