How to register with AAR

If your pet is already microchipped:

• Go to our website at www.aar.org.au and the section 'Download Forms'. Print and complete the application for New Registration.

• Send the forms and AUD $8.00 registration fee to:

                   AAR

                   Locked Bag 4317

                   Sydney Olympic Park 2127.

• We will then send you a registration certificate.

For only $8.00 your pet will be registered for life with AAR.

When you need to change your contact details (staying as the owner):

• Email us at help@aar.org.au quoting the microchip number, your old address, pet's name and breed, and provide us with your new contact details.

OR

• Call us on (02) 9704 1450 between 8.30am and 7pm weekdays to change your contact details.

• You will need to provide a password in writing in advance to prove ownership. (e.g. change of address, phone number and email etc.).

There is no charge for changes to your details.

When you are changing ownership:

• Again go to our website. Print off and complete the 'Change of Owner form'.

• Send with payment of $5.

Please note that we cannot accept changes of ownership over the phone or by email as we require original signatures on the form.

If your pet is NOT microchipped:

• Go to your vet and discuss microchipping.

• Ask him/her to register you with AAR once the chip is in place.

Remember michrochipping is compulsory for all dogs in NSW.
