Manager
An
exciting career opportunity in Communications and
the
chance to work on Australia’s
largest annual event.
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is
seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Communications and Publications
Manager to promote the RAS and its events including the Sydney Royal
Easter Show and the Sydney Royal Wine, Dairy and Fine Food Shows.
The events are huge, the reputation is second to none and the opportunity
to grow the role and make it your own is limited only by your career
goals and ambition.
The
person we seek has an extensive background in the production of internal
and external communications and publications, including electronic media.
This role has overall responsibility for all
communications from the RAS to all of our partners, staff and clients.
The role has numerous facets, including, but not limited to writing,
editing and publishing communications, research, liaison with
sponsors, clients, staff and the public and website content management
and maintenance.
This job is not for the feint hearted, but
certainly an experienced communications professional will put their own
stamp on the role and contribute significantly to the ongoing success of
the RAS. As with all communications roles, deadlines and the associated
pressures are part and parcel of what makes this opportunity exciting and
such a fabulous challenge.
