CATTLE EVENTS COORDINATOR - CONTRACT POSITION

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic team player to coordinate all of the cattle events in relation to the 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show. The event is huge, the reputation is second to none and the opportunity to make a difference is limited only by the energy you bring to the role.

The person we seek has a working knowledge of the cattle industry and breeds, project management skills and experience along with an understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, established protocols.

Your demonstrable administration and budgeting experience, planning ability and excellent verbal and written communication skills will form the basis of your success in this role.

This role has responsibility for coordinating the Sydney Royal Easter Show Cattle Section and related events, as well as ring program and maintenance of all records. You will work with an established committee, prepare agendas, attend meetings, take minutes and action items resulting from minutes.

You will need to be mature in your outlook and outcomes focused. A high level of motivation and initiative combined with your sense of humour will make you an excellent team player.

Planned to commence in September 2006, the contract will run for up to 9 months.

Location is at Sydney Olympic Park, right opposite the railway station.  Details about the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW can be found at the website on www.rasnsw.com.au

If this sounds like the role for you, we’d love to hear from you today.
