CATTLE EVENTS COORDINATOR - CONTRACT POSITION
The
Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is seeking an energetic and
enthusiastic team player to coordinate all of the cattle events in
relation to the 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show. The event is huge, the
reputation is second to none and the opportunity to make a difference is
limited only by the energy you bring to the role.
The person we seek has a
working knowledge of the cattle industry and breeds, project management
skills and experience along with an understanding of, and a willingness
to adhere to, established protocols.
Your demonstrable
administration and budgeting experience, planning ability and excellent
verbal and written communication skills will form the basis of your
success in this role.
This role has responsibility
for coordinating the Sydney Royal Easter Show Cattle Section and related
events, as well as ring program and maintenance of all records. You will
work with an established committee, prepare agendas, attend meetings,
take minutes and action items resulting from minutes.
You will need to be mature in
your outlook and outcomes focused. A high level of motivation and
initiative combined with your sense of humour will make you an excellent
team player.
Planned to commence in
September 2006, the contract will run for up to 9 months.
Location is at Sydney Olympic
Park, right opposite the railway station.
