Scholarships & Grants

The RAS Foundation provides grants and scholarships to help rural Australians realise their potential through education, make a difference in their community and achieve their ambitions.  

The RASF Community Futures Grant encourages young people to develop practical community development skills, further helping to cement the future of rural NSW.

RASF Community Kitchen (donated By Bunnings Pty Ltd) encourages a NSW Rural and Regional community to renovate or a kitchen in existing community facility for broader benefit of their local community.

Rural Scholarships support people in tertiary education who demonstrate a passion for rural issues and the determination to make a difference.  

Sydney Royal Wine Scholarship encourages dedicated students to develop skills so they can make a positive contribution to the Australian Wine Industry. 

Sydney Royal Dairy Produce Scholarship encourage passionate students to focus on the different sectors of the NSW Dairy Produce Industry.

The JB Fairfax Award for Rural Journalism encourages talented young journalists who want to pursue a career in rural journalism upon graduation.

Milly Hill Lamb in Armidale New South Wales has beaten some of Australia’s most famous farming dynasties to be named the best agricultural producer in 2012 by the Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) of NSW.
