About Us

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW is a not-for-profit organisation that has been an influential force in the direction and development of Australian agriculture through competitions, education and events since its foundation in 1822.

• To expand and promote the RAS as a constructive and influential voice in Australian agriculture
• To manage, market and maintain Sydney Showground effectively to ensure our economic viability

Our Funding

The RAS is funded by Members’ subscriptions, ground operations and space rentals, gate receipts, sponsorships and donations and entry fees and commissions.
