The RAS Youth Group represents youth within the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW. Since its establishment in 2004, the RAS Youth Group has developed various initiatives to encourage increased participation of young people in the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

From the bush the boardroom, come along and celebrate the great contribution young people make to agriculture and rural communities.
This funfilled event was held on both Saturday nights of the 2012 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Catch-up @ the Clydey supports the RAS Foundation who provide grants and scholarships to help rural Australians realise their potential through education, make a difference in their communities and achieve their ambitions. In 2012, $5 from the purchase of each ticket to Catch-up @ the Clydey went to creating opportunities for young people in rural areas through the RAS Foundation.
The Careers in Agriculture Expo is a platform to encourage young people to consider a career in agriculture and heighten awareness of agriculture as integral to our future and the need to meet the challenge of growing sufficient food more sustainably.

The Young Farmer Challenge pits teams of young farmers against one another to find those with the full suite of rural skills – with entertainment high on the agenda.
